槽鑲又稱作軌道鑲，係指將寶石排成一列咁鑲入戒指臂內，形成一條由寶石構築嘅「軌道」。咁樣不但可以保護珍貴嘅寶石避免受到撞擊或磨擦，某程度上更可以提升寶石嘅閃爍度——因為寶石之間唔會露出任何金屬。呢種近代興起嘅鑲法（最早於1980年代面世）不論用喺襯托有主石嘅戒指，抑或用於全圈戒指都一樣適合。

This setting method acts as a protection for the precious stones and avoids collision.
