微鑲，全名係「顯微鑲嵌技法」，係一種技術需求比較高嘅鑲嵌方式。
顧名思義，技師需要運用顯微鏡並於30-40倍嘅高倍率下進行鑲嵌作業。微鑲可以話係密釘鑲法嘅進階版，因為兩者嘅概念都係一樣：將大量嘅鑽石緊密咁排列——只不過微鑲技法所使用嘅鑽石往往只有一般嘅十分之一大小。
使用微鑲技法嘅珠寶首飾，視覺上會比使用其他鑲法嘅更閃亮同平滑：因為肉眼無法睇見鑲爪，而且鑲爪之間並唔會露出金屬。

We always talk about micro set, what exactly does that mean?
Micro-set (micropavé setting in full) is a demanding jewellery setting method. As its name suggests, technicians require the assistance of a microscope with 30-40x magnification to perform the setting process. One may describe micro setting as an advanced version of pave setting, as both shares the same concept: mounting a series of relatively smaller diamonds tightly together – the only difference is that diamonds used in micro setting are usually one-tenth in size. 
Visually, jewellery pieces utilising micro set will shine greater brilliance and appear smoother: this is because the naked eye cannot see the tiny mounted claws, and no metal is visible between them.
