Why is Pave Setting so versatile?
Pave setting refers to the technique of mounting a series of relatively smaller diamonds tightly together. This technique gathers the brilliance of the diamonds thus enhances the visual effect of the jewellery piece. This also explains why pave setting is often used together with other setting techniques – to exaggerate the main gem’s brilliance and visually enlarging the entire piece.
